Galatower Hotel

The view from the hotel top was wonderful. The size of the room was good. The location was near Galata Tower and near the metro and many good restaurants. The front desk people were very helpful and willing to answer every question with smile especially Ibrahim. All what you like to drink ( Tea, Coffee, Latte, expresso ...etc), is complimentary available at the lobby and of excellent quality.

The hotel is located along a narrow and steep street close to Galata Tower. It has an excellent view over the city from the rooftop terrace, where the breakfast area is. It is a modest hotel, with basic facilities, but everything was working well (e.g. internet, shower, daily cleaning), and the people at the reception were friendly and spoke English. Behind the hotel is a green area (exceptional in Istanbul) with a ruin of one of the towers of the city walls, and an old bell tower of a church.

This hotel was a total highlight of our trip! First, the location is unbelievably convenient - It’s right in the center of the touristic part of the city and is so close to the Galata Tower that there’s no chance you will ever get lost. Secondly, the staff is perfect indeed! They are incredibly helpful, kind and friendly. They gave us the best recommendations around the city, fully helped us with every single problem and made us feel at home. Totally the loveliest people in the city! The view, oh, the view! Photos that they have underestimate the real beauty. From up there, you can see the 360* of Istanbul, which is totally breathtaking! And starting every morning with a delicious cup of coffee (that btw they offer for free) sitting up there is an experience nobody should miss! The rooms are quite lovely ❤ The interiors help you feel the culture. P.S. there is good wi-fi too. Everything is clean and the service in general is on point.

The location of the hotel is amazing, very close to Galata Tower and Ishtiklal Cadessi, although the street leading to Galata Tower is a little dirty and is a short climb but the rest is amazing. The room was small but clean and the budget rooms are in lower levels with no view. The staff are amazing and very helpful. The view from the terrace is superb.

The hotel is perfectly located closer to some of the tourist attractions. The staff are exceptional, especially Ibrahim who went above and beyond his way to ensure my stay was comfortable and guided me about the city and public transport. Upon my arrival, he offered me tea and a Turkish delight which was a lovely treat after a long journey. The rooms were cleaned daily, and the aircon worked flawlessly. The views from the hotel rooftop are breathtaking.
